InsureAfrica is an independent entity, and our range of Insurance products are underwritten by GENRIC Insurance Company Ltd. Intermediary Services are provided by authorized intermediaries. Our hand-picked management team represents a wide range of knowledge and talent from within the Insurance Industry.

What on Earth is the Bull Run?
It’s neither the heart-pounding Pamplona Bull Run nor the thrill-seeking Bullrun Rally of North America. InsureAfrica has enjoyed regularly participating in the “Wegry” Bull Run, colloquially known as the “skedonk” race, an annual event held in Vanwyksvlei during October. The race, restricted to vehicles older than 1980 and acquired for under R25,000, challenges participants to navigate three gruelling stages over two days to reach Vanwyksvlei, showcasing the resilience of vintage cars in a spirited competition.
In one of the Bull Run events, InsureAfrica entered a meticulously rebuilt 1976 Chevrolet Firenza, featuring a re-manufactured 2.0-liter engine, crafted by their dedicated Claims Department, including Claus Richter, Basie Viviers, Clint Geluk, Jerry Leothela, Alan Chikari, and Sean van der Ross. Led by driver Claus Richter and “co-pilot” Basie Viviers, the official InsureAfrica team persevered through mechanical setbacks such as overheating, brake malfunctions, and engine challenges, exemplifying remarkable resilience and teamwork.Supported by Martin Beckmann, Sinah Nkwe, Nkuli Maseko, and Thandeka Ntombela, Team InsureAfrica defied the odds, securing a commendable 66th place out of 150 entrants, a testament to their determination and unwavering spirit in the face of adversity.
